We understand the information you need to prepare for the planning and will work with you to gather that information - internal measures and trends including employee satisfaction, customer measures and trends, the state of the competition and market trend information integrated to provide you with a realistic, meaningful foundation to base your planning. SMS uses information previously gathered, internal information, secondary information and only if necessary recommends that new research be undertaken.
From here, SMS provides facilitation for a planning retreat consisting of key contributors and decision makers from your organization and others, as you desire. The one or two day retreat builds on the intelligence foundation to develop short and long term goals and measurable objectives together with the major strategies to achieve those objectives. Clear follow up steps are outlined and a detailed timetable developed for the final document to be completed. The deliverable from a planning session is the written strategic plan.
